So I have been dying my hair since I was about 11 on and off. I go through phases of liking and completely disliking my natural hair. I have had my hair blonde, black, and red before. I have also have my hair pink, purple, blue, green, and turquoise. I am constantly trying to see what I can get away with. As I have gotten older, I have started to think that I am too old for certain colors.
I have found a color I am loving and have been dying my hair a bright artificial looking pink/red for the last couple of months. I don't like using bleach if I can get away with it. I feel that it just kills my hair and turns it into straw. I don't like the idea of my hair looking cute, but not being able to brush it. So I have been using a hair dye that I buy from Sally's Beauty Supply, which is made for dark hair. It does the job without the extra step and harmfulness to my hair. I love the results and will continue to dye it this color for quite some time. Here I have included the items I use when I dye my hair and a video I posted on YouTube on how I dye it and the final results.
