Sephora Glitz and Glam Nars Lipgloss

The gloss is a light champagne color with small gold glitter flecks. The glitter is small enough that if you are someone who runs their lips together its is not something you would feel. It does dry down a little helping prolong the wear time of a lipstick.
I really liked it but its not something I would repurchase because its not a very unique lip color but overall it is one of the perks of this kit.
I would give it an A.

Katt's Black Friday Haul 2013!

So I went out this Thursday night, even though the idea of shopping on thanksgiving is horrible. I mean, did I want to miss out on all the great sales? No way! Not all the stuff I bought was Beauty related, but I'm going to post the things I'm excited about that aren't. First stop: Walmart

Since they open earlier than any other retailer, it was a no brainer. I got some basic stuff, socks and PJs. But I also splurged on a couple of video games.

This is me holding back. I wanted so many more, and regret putting Battlefield down, but I just couldn't spend all my money at Walmart. I am happy with the ones I chose. I haven't had any time to play them since I have been so busy at both my jobs, but hopefully this weekend I will open one of these bad boys up.

After Walmart, I headed to a mall that I knew was opening up at 8pm. When I got there I waited in line to get into Ulta. When those doors opened, I scooped up everything I was after.

Pictures above are:
- Bare Minerals: Go for the Glow
- Laura Gellar: Sparkling Rose
- Urban Decay: Dangerous Palette
- Benefit: Lip Lotto

Since Friday, I have begun to question if I made the right decision getting all of this stuff. At the moment, I am still unsure. The Urban Decay palette is a gift, and I'm 100% sure they will love it. I kinda wish I had gotten myself one too! I will update this once I make a final decision on all the stuff and put up some pictures of the products and swatches.

While I was at Ulta, my sister was at Sephora waiting outside in the cold. She will be posting later about all the stuff she was able to grab through the sea of people over there.

My only other physical purchase of the night was at GameStop at midnight. Or rather 12:40 when I finally made it to the front of the line. It's nothing amazing, but after all the rave reviews on this game I had to pick it up.

This lovely thing was $30 and I'm excited to play it. I feel it will consume all of my time, so I will have to wait about 2 weeks to even try to touch it. But I'm excited!

I bought some items online but I don't want to say what until they arrive. I will be posting as soon as they get here. :)

How I get my hair red...WITHOUT BLEACH

So I have been dying my hair since I was about 11 on and off. I go through phases of liking and completely disliking my natural hair. I have had my hair blonde, black, and red before. I have also have my hair pink, purple, blue, green, and turquoise. I am constantly trying to see what I can get away with. As I have gotten older, I have started to think that I am too old for certain colors.

I have found a color I am loving and have been dying my hair a bright artificial looking pink/red for the last couple of months. I don't like using bleach if I can get away with it. I feel that it just kills my hair and turns it into straw. I don't like the idea of my hair looking cute, but not being able to brush it. So I have been using a hair dye that I buy from Sally's Beauty Supply, which is made for dark hair. It does the job without the extra step and harmfulness to my hair. I love the results and will continue to dye it this color for quite some time. Here I have included the items I use when I dye my hair and a video I posted on YouTube on how I dye it and the final results.

-Salon Care Professional 30 Volume Clear Developer (2.4oz) here
-Loreal HiColor HiLights for Dark Hair Only in Magenta (whole tube) here
-Indian Hemp oil or Vaseline to protect skin from dye
-Gloves
-Brush
-Clips
-Measuring Cup specifically for hair

Sephora Favorites Glitz and Glam- Stila BB Cream

As a cheek highlight this would work great but it is just too Dewey for an oily skinned person to wear all over.
I put it on and set it with a mattifying powder, 3 hours later I was a greaseball, it left me so shiny and sticky.
As a highlight just on my cheekbones I liked it but not as an overall BB Cream.

Overall I'd give it a C

Sephora Glitz and Glam- Urban Decay Moondust Shadow in Space Cowboy

When theses shadows first released I was so excited, I wanted them all but I held off. When I saw this eyeshadow in this kit I was excited because it was a great way to try out a few great products including this eyeshadow I really wanted.
Unfortunately this shadow did not meet expectations. It honestly just makes my lids look greasy if I wear it alone because it comes off as straight glitter.
Overall I'd say its a C because it can be used as a top coat over a non shimmery shadow.
