Red hair dye has a tendency to fade fast, so this is a great product to keep that from happening too quickly. I wash my hair every 2-3 days to keep fading to a minimum and use this shampoo every time. One thing to note is that this shampoo is tinted to a certain level, which can compete with the tone of the red you have. So keep this in mind if your hair is darker or more blonde than pure red. But still an amazing shampoo which smells great.
